Name: Maire Biesot
Position: Marie is a special needs Education Assistant.
I am enjoying my fifth year at Jolimont Primary School. My position is working as a Special Needs Assistant. Not only am I teaching, supporting and encouraging these children, I have learnt from them as well. It’s such a thrill to see the joy and sense of achievement on their faces with each new skill they acquire. That’s one of the pleasures in life for me. When I am not at school going out for coffee with family or friends is a treat. For relaxation I enjoy swimming at the beach and doing Pilates. I am proud to be working at Jolimont Primary School, continuing to assist the children to grow in their learning and value the rewards of friendship and support from the school community.

           Felicity is an experienced staff member entering Jolimont from Kulin District High School.

Name: Jo Cutler
Position: Jo teaches Year 2 students in Room 5 on Thursday and Friday. She also teaches our Year 3 students on Tuesday.
Jo is newly appointed this term.

Name: Heather Duggan
Position: Heather is an Education Assistant in Room 8 and also works in the school office on Tuesday afternoon and Thursdays.
This is my 5^th year at Jolimont PS working with the early childhood classes. I am currently in the Pre Primary (Room 8) and enjoy every day. I am married with two daughters and a dog Buffy. I like any craft and watching sport but not participating. My husband and daughter are pit crew for the speedway where you can find me on a Saturday night.

Position: Rebecca is new to Jolimont this year, moving back to Perth after time in the country. Rebecca is in Room 12 with our Year 3 students.

Name: Mandy Edwards
Position: Mandy teaches Pre Primary. In 2006 she reached the final of the Premier Teacher Award.
I came to Jolimont in 2001 and hope to stay for as long as I can, it is a lovely little school. I love the bush and enjoy hiking and camping although somehow with two teenage daughters getting them to and from sporting and social engagements takes priority. I do have dreams of venturing to far away, exotic places one day!

         Position:           Year 1 teacher and too many other things! Organising social events for staff - the more the merrier!! This is my second year at Jolimont and I                                 hope to have many more!
         Interests:          Walking my dog, trying to grow a garden (difficult with said dog!) reading, movies, going to the beach, cooking and eating!
       Most exciting / interesting life experience:    Living overseas and travelling with friends.
