Welcome to the Jolimont Primary web site.

Located in an inner metropolitan suburb of Perth in Western Australia, Jolimont's similarity to a country school distinguishes it from other metropolitan schools. It is positioned on 2.5 hectares of well-tended grounds and has within its grounds the only natural bushland in the City of Subiaco. With its prominent position on Hay Street, Jolimont has been a landmark in the area since 1905 serving the communities of Jolimont, Daglish and Floreat. Jolimont Primary first opened with one classroom and fifteen students. It has grown steadily to a current enrolment of  two hundred and fifty students.

At Jolimont, our Early Childhood Centre is situated within the school grounds, allowing us to provide an integrated learning program from the time students enter in kindergarten through to Year 7. The school is highly regarded in a community which is informed, articulate and demands a quality education for its children.  Jolimont has a record of high standards of student achievement in a learning environment that stimulates, connects and challenges. There is a well established ethos with an expectation that there will be  high standards of student behaviour and a focus on students engaging in active citizenship.

As a community we pride ourselves on our emphasis on building partnerships between students, staff and parents.  Over the last six years there has been a more than 45% increase in enrolments. This is a result of a community focussed on "moving forward" and providing the best possible learning environment for its students. Parental involvement is highly valued and encouraged.

Jolimont has the advantage of of being a well established school with modern, recently constructed facilities. Over the last five years the school has undergone major building programs including the construction of a new resource centre, new administration and assembly areas, toilets, parking and major additions to the early childhood facilities to cater for the substantial increase in enrolments.  An active P&C has contributed considerable funds to ensure the students at Jolimont have access to contemporary resources including modern screen based technologies, air conditioning in all classrooms and substantial improvements to the school grounds including the construction of an impressive range of playground equipment.

As a community we are extremely proud of our school. If you would like more information about Jolimont, please make an appointment to visit and see what we have to offer your child.
